Proxmox Home Lab
Proxmox VE on a Dell PowerEdge T130 plus VPS nodes, stitched together with MikroTik routing and WireGuard tunnels.
The problem
Real projects need real infrastructure — places to host, test and break things safely.
What I built
- Proxmox VE on a Dell PowerEdge T130 as the main hypervisor.
- Additional VPS nodes, joined to the home network with WireGuard tunnels.
- MikroTik RouterOS for routing, VLANs and PPPoE.
- Debian and Ubuntu Server guests, with Docker and Coolify for deployments.
The hard part
- Keeping a mix of home hardware and remote VPS nodes reachable and secure as one network.
Result
A lab where I host my own services and test everything before it goes to production.
